Happiness,
we are happy,
laughter,
bubbling in stomach,
making its way up and out.
Need,
we have need.
hopeful,
inside,
outside,
expressed.
Love,
we love.
Beautiful,
deep,
in the pores of every being.
Desire,
we radiate desire,
embrace it,
coming into us,
inside and out.
Fear,
Trepidation
we fear, fear itself.
Terrifyingly sudden.
Swallowing us whole.
Creation,
we are creation.
Long before time,
along,
creation,
created.
Energy,
we enjoy energy.
Full,
bright,
joyous,
extreme.
Anger,
we are angry,
strength,
rage,
vast,
enormous.
Freedom
Breath in deeply,
inhale
Exhale
Sweat dripping off the side of my neck.
Dipping in the indent between my shoulder blades.
My hair clinging to my face,
a second skin.
Bouncing on the soles of my feet,
Taking position,
one-step,
two, three.
Run.
My steps are belligerent.
Cool air dancing on my skin.
Arms like wings take flight.
Eyes set on finish, straight ahead.
I bite my lips,
the taste in my mouth is acetic.
Legs light, heave, tired,
carrying my body onward.
Adrenaline,
kicking in,
sprouting awareness.
Rushing past,
everything’s a blur.
I hear a cheer,
one, then two,
then too many,
making me deaf.
Legs bucking,
falling,
standing on my knees.
Arms pounding,
my stomach and body crumpling.
Relief,
finally,
freedom.
We walked in thought the doors,
the place was crowded and everyone was ecstatic.
I was young and curious and decided to go explore,
who knew a young girl like me could be so idomatic.
The place was a bee hive,
busy as can be.
I had no idea if I'd be able to survive,
I was like a lost flea.
I had my tokens in hand,
ready to play games.
But all did not go as i planned,
my perfect night had all gone up in flames.
I looked arounf but not a familiar face could be seen,
I started crying and crying,
finally my mommy found me.
That experience was quite terrifying.
